Gwendolyn Roberts Payne is a pastor, retired educator, and motivational speaker. A native of Lumberton, NC, she is a graduate of Hampton University and UNC Charlotte, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Las Amigas Incorporated, and Toastmasters International. She is a mother of three and has one granddaughter. She resides in Lumberton with her mother and dog, Gabriel.
