Author and speaker Kendy Ward first garnered recognition as a winner of BET’s First Time Writer’s Competition when her short story, “The Perfect Story,” was published in the BET Books anthology All That and Then Some. Later, her first nonfiction work was published in the inspirational and empowering compilation No Glory without a Story. In 2012 she took her writing career to another level when she authored her first self-published work, God-Esteem: Seeing the God in You. Her first full-length work of fiction, Oh Romeo, Romeo — the first book in The Knight in Damaged Armor series — was released in late 2015, followed by Only One Knight and Reign Storm.
A contemporary Christian romance in the Knight in Damaged Armor series, following a couple whose relationship collides with past trauma, emotional armor, and spiritual battles, as they learn to let God reign over their storms and fight for a love that heals rather than harms.
